When people ask me about my dreams, they often assume I am talking about career goals, educational achievements, or financial success.
And yes, I have those dreams too.
But lately, I have realized that the dreams closest to my heart are much simpler than that.
These days, I find myself praying for two things more than anything else.

Peace.
And a good future for my children.
As a mother, I spend a lot of time thinking about the future.
Will my children achieve their dreams?
Will they grow up to be good people?
Will they be happy?
Am I guiding them in the right direction?
Am I doing enough?
These are questions I carry quietly, even on ordinary days.
Maybe that is part of being a mother. No matter how old our children are, we continue to worry about them and hope for the best for their future.
My youngest is only two years old, and lately I have become more aware of how quickly time passes. Sometimes I catch myself wishing I could slow everything down. It reminds me that while I am busy preparing for the future, I also do not want to miss the moments happening right now.
Sometimes I think mothers spend so much time worrying about everyone else’s future that we forget to acknowledge our own fears.
We carry them silently.
We keep moving forward.
We continue doing what needs to be done.
But deep inside, we are hoping.
Hoping that all the sacrifices will be worth it.
Hoping that our children will someday understand why we worked so hard.
Hoping that life will become a little gentler.
And hoping that one day, we will finally find peace.
Recently, I even started this blog.
To be honest, I don’t know where it will lead.
There are days when I check my blog statistics and wonder if anyone is really reading. Sometimes I wonder if all the effort will be worth it.
But every time I sit down and write, I am reminded that some journeys are worth continuing even before we see the results.
I enjoy writing.
I enjoy sharing.
And more than anything, I hope this blog becomes a place where mothers like me can connect with one another.
Not to impress anyone.
Not to seek sympathy.
But simply to remind each other that we are not alone.
Maybe some of our stories are similar.
Maybe our struggles are different.
But perhaps we can learn from one another, support one another, and grow together.
That has always been the heart behind Cuddle by Mommy.
I used to think peace would come after achieving certain goals.
After reaching certain milestones.
After solving certain problems.
But life has taught me that peace is not always something waiting for us at the finish line.
Sometimes it is something we have to create along the way.
A quiet moment with our children.
A grateful heart despite unanswered questions.
A decision to keep moving forward even when we cannot see the whole road ahead.
Maybe that is why peace has become one of my biggest dreams.
Not a perfect life.
Not a life without problems.
Just peace.
The kind of peace that allows me to look at my children, trust that I have done my best, and believe that everything will eventually fall into place.
I still have dreams.
Some are taking longer than I expected.
Some may take years.
Some may happen differently than I imagined.
But I am learning that delayed does not always mean denied.
For now, I will keep doing my best.
I will keep loving my children.
I will keep working toward the future I hope for.
And I will keep choosing hope over fear.
Because maybe some dreams take longer than others.
And maybe that is okay.
